Alternative strategies have long been used by hedge funds, but recent regulatory changes allow fund managers to use leverage, short selling and borrowing in the new alternative funds framework. While these new regulations bring benefits to investors, they also pose challenges as more asset managers enter the market. Using inexperienced managers can introduce a new risk to portfolios, so it’s important to get the chemistry right.

Join us on May 14-15, 2019 at our Toronto head office to hear our team of portfolio managers and investment professionals discuss how they fortify portfolios using alternative investments and strategies. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of how our proprietary portfolio construction process can optimize risk/return profiles and why alternatives are important, especially during this later stage in the economic cycle. Seating is limited.
